Facio
Solutions

Run more products. Manage more binders. Keep control.

Facio turns binding authority into controlled insurance operations — connecting product configuration, distribution, underwriting, policy administration and reporting in one operating system for MGAs and coverholders.

The buyer situation

Every binder introduces its own risk appetite, eligibility rules, underwriting questions, authority limits, referral paths, documents and reporting obligations.

When those requirements are operated through forms, email and spreadsheets, each new product adds another parallel process. Submissions become difficult to reconstruct, follow-ups separate from the risk, and management loses visibility into where business is delayed.

The business may have the distribution and market opportunity to grow, while its operational model remains the limiting factor.

Our point of view

A binder is not merely a document. It is a grant of authority.

It defines who may act, which risks are eligible, what requires referral, who may approve and bind, and what must be retained and reported.

Facio translates that authority into an executable operating model. Approved rules govern how submissions advance, when automated logic may apply and when an authorised person must decide.

Target Operating Model & Transaction Flow

Run more binders without multiplying operational complexity. Each binder’s authority, eligibility and reporting obligations become a controlled workflow.

What the operating model enables

ObjectiveOperating change
Add products and bindersConfigure their rules within one shared operating model
Improve submission qualityValidate required information through the applicable journey
Preserve authorityApply automated rules and human referrals according to the binder
Strengthen auditabilityRetain the changes, decisions and policy events forming the transaction history
Improve reportingGenerate outputs from structured policy data instead of reconstructing them afterward
Support growthExpand without creating an independent operational process for every product

Governance and control

Facio distinguishes between deterministic execution and underwriting judgment.

Where approved rules permit a decision to be executed automatically, the platform can apply them consistently. Where the binder requires referral, discretion or additional authority, the case remains with an authorised person.

The objective is not to remove the underwriter. It is to ensure that every automated and human decision occurs within the authority granted and remains reconstructable afterward.
